My baby’s father wants to ride a motorcycle from Miami to Jacksonsville FL to see my parents for the holidays. I think ill be okay because im 19, and in good shape, the baby is fine, and there are no other risks. But my mom is against the whole idea.

I really hope this is not a serious question. Riding a motorcycle while you’re pregnant is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of. Why would you risk it? This is your baby, you are the only one who can protect it. Make smart choices now so you won’t regret later.

I am going to say NO. Age and "good shape" has nothing to do with it. What happens if you crash, fly 40 feet and you are not protected? I would seriously consider asking your doctor. I am willing to speak for them and say no.

Ya know, if it was a short mile ride, I wouldn’t be gasping. However, seeing as how that’s a significantly far drive, I wouldn’t risk it. I think that potentially, it could cause big problems! Ask your doctor, but I’m sure he’ll say the same thing – get in a car and drive there.

but even then im 22 and was pregnant with my first child at 17 i still would of never gotten on a motorcycle. traveling in a car during the holidays is dangerous enough. you & your boyfriend must be out ur minds

You guys are Asses… I rode on a motorcycle with Both of my Children, No- It wasn’t a long drive, it was More or less a 2 Mile Ride. BUT, I called and Spoke to my Doctor, and he was fine with it. So Quick To Judge. GEEZ
