I want to collect money for the angels on our local angel tree, and buy the gifts for them but I’m not sure how to go about this. Me and my husband ride a GSXR 1000 motorcycle and we know alot of other riders, I thought I could get alot of local riders together and take up $10 or more each rider as money toward the angels(children) who don’t get gifts during the season. I even thought we could ride in the local parades also to raise money. What would be the best way to go about this?
Pls don’t be offended, but there is no need to "reinvent the wheel." There are plenty of legit charity organizations that provide toys to needy kids and food to the hungry. Support them.

First, if you do a ride, get local clubs and groups to help sponsor it–we have a church that promotes a ride during the veterans day parade and they ask for cash donations and toys. Spread the word through the bike clubs, churches and you may ask local businesses if you can set out donation jars to helop with this. Check with local radio stations about some air time-community service announcements- they may not even charge for it. Maybe put out fliers in local businesses. also look up non-profit organizations on the web./Check with the organizers of your local angel tree-if its in a mall , check with the mall manager, he may be able to tell you who to check with. Local newspapers may also help. See your local military recruiters/National Guards in your area, they have alot of resources.
