October/November of this year I have 2 weeks booked off. I want to have a decent holiday but I am not sure where to go, any suggestions?
At the moment I’m torn between a little motorcycle trip in the States, an activity holiday in Thailand or a Caribbean cruise.
I’d like to stay away from the obvious destinations visited by other Brits; Kos, Corfu etc… and away from Europe unless the place is very special.
I’m a 26 year old male, travelling alone. Any suggestions…
Globerunner you horrible little git… ![]()
A motorcycle trip sounds like fun (and the pound to dollar conversion is pretty good too). The weather around most of the US is nice at that time of year.
I wouldn’t head to the Caribbean in late October only because it’s still technically hurricane season, and unless you could get a refund on your travel expenses you’d be screwed. Then again, I worry a lot and it could go off without a hitch.
Most Caribbean cruises are about a week, so if you really wanted to you could take the cruise and do a small bike trip.

Thailand is definitely a wonderful holiday destination now a days specially if you love to shop, if you are seriously thinking for making a trip to Thailand, just have a look at the hotels in one of the main cities Phuket which is a wonderful place to stay and shop.
