El 3 de junio de 1992 una niña de 12 años llamada Severn Suzuki quien anteriormente a sus 10 años de edad fundó ECO ( Environmental Childrens Organization ) con SUS amigos en la ciudad de Vancouver Canada, Se desplazó, junto a un grupo de niños (Vanessa Suttie, Morgan Geisler, Michelle Quigg)pertenecientes a ECO (Environment Children Organization), desde Canada hasta la Conferencia de Medioambiente y Desarrollo “The Earth Summit” celebrada por la ONU en Río de Janeiro.

Una vez allí hizo este discurso de 6:32 minutos.
Hoy a sus 28 años…. sigue su lucha
esta graduada en la universidad de YALE

Piotr Krachulec, the organizer of Santas on motorbikes share .- The parade was attended by 660 vehicles and nearly 700 participants, in addition to this, many people bought the bricks, but did not participate in the action. Thanks to them we managed to collect close to 43 thousand. zł, enough for about 17 thousand. lunches for needy kids.

As an experienced Political Officer back in the Philippines. I am used to helping my fellow Country Men who are in Grassroot level. I believe in equality and fair justice to all. I believe in the ideology of SOCIALISM and in the benefits it can bring to the people.

Mike visited the charity on one of their days at Castle Combe, this is some info from their website:
The charity can give you an insight into how a disabled motorcyclist can ride a solo motorcycle, or even try to race as a paraplegic.
There is information about conversions, adaptations, who/where and what, as well as lessons learned and the opportunity to get back on a bike.
The site has been set up by Talan Skeels-Piggins, a former PE Teacher, sports enthusiast and avid biker. Talan was paralysed from the chest down in a motorcycle accident in March 2003, but that didn’t stop him from continuing with his passion for riding bikes. It did take him a few years to realise that you could still ride and now he wants to share his knowledge with others who are wanting to get back in the saddle.
Talan, Russ, Graham and the Launch Crew hope to show other paralysed/injured bikers that they can still enjoy the thrill of riding two wheels. With the co-operation of Castle Combe Circuit, a safe and steady route back into biking has been developed. Find out more at: http://www.thebikeexperience.co.uk

Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club – Charity Ride ’11

Every year the Police Blue Knights motorcycle club sponsor a “Blue Ride” for local charities. Any other bike club is invited, as are individuals wanting to give back to their communities. Over seven-hundred motorcycles showed up, and one-thousand people.
