My friends father was hit by a dear and got in a motorcycle accident. He is a funny guy and loves to shoot the shit, I plan to get him a card but am not sure on a gift to give him. I am visiting him in the hospital tomorrow and would like to get something with sentimental value any help would be awesome thanks.
Has he read Peter Egan's books, Leanings and Leanings 2?
They are funny short stories and have lots of great anecdotes about riding.

I've been in the same situation and I can tell you the best thing you can possibly do is spend time with him.
It will mean much much more than any present, so forget the cards, flowers, presents.
Just spend time with him, he needs it. Visit every day if you can, even if its only for a few minutes.
